The University Breast Cancer center of Tübingen provides comprehensive multidisciplinary care to breast cancer patients. It is part of the Comprehensive Cancer Center of the University hospital of Tuebingen. Our doctors work as a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal care. The core team includes breast surgeons, gynecologic oncologists, pathologists, reconstructive surgeons, radiation oncologists, and radiologists. The University Breast Cancer Center of Tübingen is certified by the „Deutschen Gesellschaft für Senologie und der Deutschen Krebsgesellschaft“ and is accredited by the EUSOMA. Guideline oriented diagnostic workup and treatment according to the latest sientific knowledges, continuing quality controlls and promotion of education and research are the main concepts of the University Breast Cancer center of Tübingen. Important research areas are minimal invasive diagnostic procedueres, oncoplastic reconstructive surgery and multiple projects in the field of minimal residual disease. Supportive services such as genetic counseling, gynecologic and endocrinological care, physical therapy, psychosocial support and excercise programs are provided.
