SenoNetwork is the first international network of clinical centres exclusively dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. These centres are called "breast units" and they have first been defined by EUSOMA, the European Society of Breast Cancer Specialists.
Specialist breast units that provide service in accordance with the “European Guidelines for quality assurance in breast cancer screening and diagnosis” (4th edition) are recommended by Europa Donna, the European Breast Cancer Coalition, and the European Parliament.
SenoNetwork's mission is to develop synergies among breast units, to assists doctors and nurses working in the field and to help breast cancer patients and their caregivers to find the right place to be looked after or to have a second opinion.
SenoNetwork is an educational programme ran jointly by EUSOMA and the European School of Oncology.

All centres published in the SenoNetwork Directory are entitled to a free online subscription of the journal The Breast, but from 2010 every center will be asked to confirm the request.
